Shawn Hilliard was called to Pastor Martins Mennonite Church in November 2015. Shawn studied Theology at Malone College before beginning his ministry career. He worked in student ministry at Rivertree Christian Church in Canton, Ohio before returning to his anabaptist roots working as a solo pastor in the Church of the Brethren. He is nearing the completion of a Master of Arts in Global Leadership degree through Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Shawn met his wife Sarah during his under-graduate studies at Malone, they have two daughters Elisabeth and Samantha. Shawn’s passion for ministry centers around 2 Corinthians 5:16–20, with emphasis on community, discipleship, and mission. He enjoys a good cup of coffee and has an affinity for vintage Volkswagens.
