At Martins Mennonite Church:

WE believe that the One True God created all things with His spoken Word.

WE believe that God created humans in His image to live with Him forever. But through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, humanity fell into sin and became cut off from God forever.

WE believe that, to mend this separation, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ into the world.
Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary and grew up as the son of Joseph, a carpenter. Jesus taught
how to live a holy life dedicated to God. Jesus was betrayed, arrested, judged, beaten, and
crucified. Three days later, Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead and walked out of His
tomb. He ascended into Heaven where God named Him both Lord and Redeemer. Jesus' death
on the Cross has enabled God to forgive everyone and save them from eternity in Hell. This free
gift of salvation comes from Jesus Christ alone, and is given to all who seek it.

WE believe that Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to be with us and guide us in our Christian walk.
It is the Holy Spirit that gives God's followers the power to heal the sick, cast out demons, and
proclaim the freedom of Christ to the world.

WE believe that the Holy Bible is God's true and divine message to us. The Bible contains 66
different books written by different authors in different professions in different time periods; yet
each book testifies that God loves us and that He will send His Son, the Messiah, to save us from
our sins. The Bible is the standard on which we base our beliefs and our lives.

WE believe that the Holy Christian Church was begun by the Holy Spirit and is led by the Risen Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The Church is not a building, but the fellowship of God's followers. The Church exists when two or more are gathered in the Name of Jesus. The Church is God's divine instrument on Earth, used by Him to bring hte message of love, salvation, and hope to everyone without reservation.

WE believe that, sometime soon, the Lord Jesus Christ will return to Earth. He will end history as we know it, wil defeat Satan, will judge all the people of the world, and will reward His followers with eternal life in Heaven on Earth.
